How to access Comms Threader and manage your account.
How Access Works
Comms Threader uses email-based authentication with no passwords. This means:
- No separate password to create or remember
- You sign in with your email address
- On desktop, a magic link is sent to your inbox. Click it to sign in.
- On mobile, a one-time code (OTP) is sent to your email. Enter it on the login screen.
- Your session stays active until you sign out or clear your browser data
Signing In
- Go to app.commsthreader.com
- Enter your email address
- Check your inbox for a magic link or one-time code
- Click the magic link, or enter the code on the login screen
Tip: Check your spam folder if the email doesn't arrive within 2 minutes. Magic links expire after a short time, so use them promptly.
Common Login Issues
I didn't receive a magic link or code
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Ensure you're using the exact email address registered with your workspace
- Wait 2 minutes and request a new link or code
- Check with your IT team if your organisation blocks external emails
Link or code says "expired" or "invalid"
- Magic links and codes expire after a short time
- Each can only be used once
- Request a fresh one and use it immediately
I can't access the app at all
- Your email must be added to a workspace by the workspace owner
- Contact your workspace owner to confirm you've been added
- If you're the owner and still can't access, contact support
Account Settings
Access your account settings from the gear icon in the Hub. From there you can:
- View your workspace name and tier
- See team members (Pro only)
- Manage workspace settings (owners only)
Switching Workspaces
If you belong to multiple workspaces, you'll see a workspace selector in the Hub. Your projects are workspace-specific and don't transfer between workspaces.
Signing Out
To sign out, click the sign out button in the Hub settings. You can also clear your browser cookies for the domain. Sessions remain active until you sign out or your browser data is cleared.

- The email address you're trying to use
- Your workspace name (if you know it)
- A screenshot of any error message
